I’m Jesper, the guy behind Nothing but Ice Cream, and I know I don’t have to say it, but I’ll do it anyway.
I LOOOOOOOOOVE ICE CREAM!
I live in beautiful Spain with my wife and daughter. Here we have 300+ days a year with sunshine, which makes ice cream taste even better!
My daughter is just like me – Ice Cream is King! And for a long time, her favorite flavor has been Raspberry. Funny enough – she won’t eat them raw and don’t like them in a pie. But when it comes to ice cream, it’s the best!
I have always loved ice cream, but it was not before 2014, when I got my first ice cream maker, I started to make ice cream on a more regular basis. I would make homemade ice cream, using my personal choice of ingredients, and the exact amount I wanted. It was heaven!
Fast forward to 2019. My wife had for years kept asking me why I didn’t create a blog about homemade ice cream. I was making ice cream all the time anyway, so why not write about it!? In 2017 I did register this domain name, but I never started a blog or used it for anything else.
But in the end, my wife convinced me to try, and I started working on Nothing but Ice Cream in mid-2020. And I have to admit – I love it!

So, what can you expect from this site?
On this site, I will share everything I know and have learned about making ice cream – everything from the pure vanilla and strawberry recipes to making cones and decorations.
I will also share my experience with the accessories/equipment I use and tell you about all the mistakes I have made.
With this site, I hope to inspire you to make your own ice cream. To show you that making ice cream can be simple and easy and (in my opinion) taste so much better than the one you buy in the supermarket.
